  To its eleventh anniversary Festplatten is back with a new vinyl ep by the Teichmann Brothers. The Brainwash Ep is a foretaste of the new Teichmann album, which will be released in spring 2011.
  
  The titeltrack "brainwash" manoveres between all dance genres, but still it connects the different influences into a trippy and catchy Track. It´s based on a moog bassline jumping on a Roland TR 505 groove with a voicesnippet on top abused till its selfoscillation.
  
  The B1 track "Duracell/E-Baby is created out of a looped beat from an old Wersi drumcomputer. Originally built to add beats to the well known 70ies homeorgans, the Teichmann Brothers made a jacking rocker between Chicago and Berlin out of it. It´s one of these tracks that sound old and new at the same time.
  
  The final track on the EP is called "Stueck", a kind of crazy discotrack, that reminds of Metro Area, but in a lofi version. Wersi circuits are also part of it and you can hear door by door studioneighbour Walker Barnard on the e-bass.
